Part-time Recruiting Assistant

This position is Monday through Friday from 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. (20 hours per week).

Job Duties:
Responsible for recruitment of all part-time positions at the College, including assisting managers with the hiring process, reviewing and advancing applicants, and advertising positions on multiple career sites.
Provides customer service in person, over the phone, and via e-mail. Treat customers with courtesy and respect, shows concern for their needs, and investigates and resolves requests and concerns promptly. Supports a welcoming, supportive and respectful work environment.
Responds to applicant questions in a timely manner.
Assists with front-office operations on a daily basis.
Assists HR Business Partners as needed to checks reference, interview scheduling, and preparing paperwork for hiring committees.
Represent the College at job fairs and other community outreach events.
Assists in the creation of policy and procedure documentation.
Supports College diversity initiatives.
Maintains the confidentiality of information.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management or related field
One year of experience in recruiting or providing recruiting assistance
At the College's discretion, additional qualifying education/experience may be substituted for experience/education on a year-for-year basis.
Qualifications:
Bilingual skills in other languages that meet community needs
Experience using the NeoGov applicant tracking system
Working Conditions:
Work is typically performed in a normal office environment working with a variety of people. Work environment is often noisy and crowded with students and staff. Occasional strain to the eyes while working with a computer terminal.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
