Help Desk Support Technician I

Our IT department client is looking for a basic level help desk technician to field phone calls, troubleshoot callers' issues, solve the issues when possible and otherwise determine which department the caller should go to for more specialized support.
Must be patient, calm headed, articulate, and analytical.
Prior IT experience preferred.
Basic computer skills a must, as well as a familiarity with Windows 7 and the MS Office suite of tools.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
